Copyright & Takedown Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Jingool is a discovery and listening platform for publicly available Persian-language audio, including live radio and podcasts. Respecting creators and rights holders is a core principle of how we operate. This policy explains how Jingool sources content and how rights-holders can request the removal of content they believe infringes their rights.

1. How Jingool sources content

Jingool provides access to Persian-language audio content in two ways:

(a) Curated content — we index and provide access to radio streams and podcast feeds that have been made publicly available by their broadcasters and producers. Podcasts are generally indexed from publicly distributed RSS feeds. Radio stations are accessed through publicly available streaming endpoints made available by broadcasters. We do not modify the content and do not claim ownership of it. Unless otherwise stated, Jingool does not host or reproduce third-party audio.

(b) Submitted content — channels, producers, and other content providers ("Content Providers") may submit their own streams or feeds for inclusion. Content Providers are responsible for ensuring they hold all rights necessary.

In both cases, the underlying audio content is owned by its respective Content Owners. Jingool does not claim ownership of third-party content made available through the Service.

2. Our commitment

Our goal is to help listeners discover publicly available Persian-language audio while directing listening back to its original publisher.

We respond promptly to clear, valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. Where we receive a valid request, we will remove or disable access to the relevant content within the Service and, where appropriate, contact the relevant Content Provider.

Because curated content is often provided through a broadcaster's own publicly available stream, in many cases the most effective route to removal is to contact the broadcaster or Content Owner directly. However, you may always contact us using the procedure below.

Jingool welcomes direct relationships with broadcasters and podcasters. If you are a rights holder and have questions about how your content appears in the Service, we encourage you to contact us before submitting a formal takedown request.

3. How to submit a copyright takedown request

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our copyright contact that includes all of the following:
- your name, address, telephone number, and email;
- a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- a description of where the allegedly infringing material is located within the Service (e.g. the channel or podcast name and, if possible, a link or screenshot);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.

Send your notice to: copyright@jingool.com

4. Counter-notifications

If you are a Content Provider and your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the same contact, including:
- your contact details;
- identification of the removed content and where it appeared;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and to accept service of process from the party that submitted the original notice;
- your signature.

5. Repeat infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, remove content and discontinue our relationship with Content Providers found to repeatedly submit infringing content.

6. Misrepresentations

Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages under applicable law.
